PURPOSE:To prevent a printing error, by sending out a set command of a medium as a message, into a processing result data sent from a high rank device against an input, when using one printer in common by plural input/output devices. CONSTITUTION:Prescribed data are inputted by keyboards 6, 6' from input/ output devices 1, 1'. The data are inputted to corresponding transmission and receiving control parts 10, 10' in an input/output controller 3 through input/ output controllers 8, 8' and transmission buffers 9, 9', and also are transmitted to a control part 12. The control part 12 communicates with HOST, receives a processing result, stores it in a data store buffer 11, and selects the transmission and receiving control parts 10, 10' corresponding to the input/output devices 1, 1'. By message output parts A, A, a set command of a medium (bankbook) is added as a message, and is transmitted 10, 10' together with a processing result data. In this way, an operator of the input/output devices 1, 1' can set a bankbook to a printer 2 without an error, seeing displays 5, 5'. |
