PURPOSE:To obtain a double color copy of high quality, by forming an electrostatic latent image corresponding to two colors of an original in the positive and negative polarities. CONSTITUTION:A photoreceptor A containing a CdS and an insulated layer formed oan aluminum substrate cylinder 10 is first charged negatively by the 1st corona discharger 11 and at the same time exposed evenly by a lamp 12. Then the reflected light caused from an original by an original illuminating lamp 13 is formed into an image of the photoreceptor A. Then the receptor A is charged positively by the 2nd corona discharger 18 and at the same time irradiated by the image light via a filter 20 of red light for example. After this, the receptor A is destaticized by the 3rd corona discharger 19 and with the negative corona and at the same time irradiated by the image light via a filter 21 which cuts the red light. Then an electrostatic latent image having the negative and positive potentials at the black and red parts through an exposure 22 is formed. This latent image is turned visible through a developer 22 and with the black and red toners charged positive and negative respectively. |
