PURPOSE:To affix accurately and efficiently a member to be affixed along the longitudinal direction of an elongate shape material, by a method wherein a hot melt to cnstitute an affixed member is poured into a closed space while relatively moving an elongate shape material and a die in the longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION:An extruded shape material is cut to produce an elongate shape material A, which is set on a base 4. Next, a die 15 is lowered by a second air cylinder 16 and is pressed against the base 4. As a result, the end part A' of the material A to which a bead member is to be affixed is faced to the bottom wall 23a of a stepped recessed groove 23, a closed, space B is formed by the bottom wall 23a, the end part A' of the material A and the base 4, while the base 4 and the die 15 are brought into contact with each other so that they can be slidden relatively in the longitudinal direction. Then, a gun 13 is lowered by a first air cylinder 14 and is set into a gun insert hole 24. Hot melt is ejected from the gun 13 and poured into the closed space B, while the base 4 is slidden in the lngitudinal direction by a moving mechanism 5, and the hot melt is sequentially poured into the space B. |
