PURPOSE:To make it possible that an external interface receives a storage data block designating address, by providing an actual address converting circuit function for conversion from logical addresses to physical addresses in a magnetic disc device. CONSTITUTION:An I/F controlling part 90 to which a stand-by signal (a), a control data bus (b), a control tag signal (c), a block ready signal (d), and a fault signal (e) are connected is provided as an interface I/F of a disc device 1. A data transfer I/F (f) is connected to a data controlling circuit 80. A storage module consisting of a disc plate 10 and a head 20, a positioner 30, and a servo circuit 40 for the positioner 30 are provided, and the servo circuit 40 is connected to the controlling part 90 and a write/read circuit 70. A sector circuit 50 detects the position in the circumferential direction of the head and is connected to the I/F controlling part 90. A head selecting circuit 60 is connected to the I/F controlling part 90 and the wire/read circuit 70. The write/read circuit is connected to the data controlling circuit 80. |
