PURPOSE:To enlarge the current feeding region of a fan, by forming air-flow deflecting vanes in an air-flow deflecting vane plate in the manner that the width of the vanes at one side of said plate is greater than that of the vanes at the other side, so that the air-flow deflecting vane plate is turned continuously by a substantially regulated air flow produced by a fan. CONSTITUTION:A motor securing section 7 is formed by a plurality of support ribs 8 having a relatively large width and extended radially in a wind tunnel 2. Air flow produced by an axial-flow fan 12 driven by a motor 9 reaches air-flow deflecting vanes 21 after it is regulated or straightened substantially completely when passing through the support ribs 8. The air-flow deflecting vanes 21 constitute a part of an air-flow deflecting vane plate 6 which is supported in a freely rotatable manner on a pivotal shaft 14 erected from the motor securing section 7. Here, since arrangement is such that the width of the vanes 21 at one side of a strengthening rod 20 is greater than that of the vanes at the other side, moment of rotation is produced when air flow is acted to the plate 6, so that it is turned in a clockwise direction. |
