This invention concerns a farm waggon with load platform with at least a front flap and side flaps. Normally, such a waggon cannot be used for jobs other than those it was designed for and to eliminate this drawback in the present waggon the front flap 6 extending between the side flaps 4 is telescopically arranged on the bottom of the platform to move between two end positions, wherein at least one piston-cylinder arrangement 19 acting as a support which can be connected between the front flap and the chassis of the waggon is arranged to move the front flap 6 between said position for emptying of the waggon or for compressing the compactable goods being loaded on the waggon. To control the front flap 6 during its movement, at least one guide beam 9 is arranged on the bottom of the platform, which co-operates with a sliding sleeve 8 connected to the front flap 6, and in each guide beam 9, which is telescopically guided in a guide groove in the bottom of the platform, there is arranged a second dual-acting hydraulic cylinder 10 for movement of the front flap 6, which second hydraulic cylinder 10 works between the waggon chassis 2 and the guide beam 9, and the support 8 for the piston-cylinder arrangement 19 acting on the front flap is carried by the guide beam 9. <IMAGE> |
