PURPOSE:To recognize whether external storage information is written while an operating power source is held abnormal, by writing the contents of a flip- flop which corresponds to a power source fault in a specific bit of a data block. CONSTITUTION:When a power source fault detection signal is inputted, the control part 201 of a bulk controller generates a flag set output to set an FF204. During this setting period, information is written in a block of the bulk memory of an external storage device, being written through a CPU, through a recevier and driver circuit 205 continuously until the writing is accomplished to the block. After a check code is written, data 1 as setting information on the FF204 is written in the flag bit of the block. Therefore, whether the block information of the bulk memory is written in the fault time or normal time of a power source is recognized according to the contents of the flag bit. |
