PURPOSE:To enable the combined battery in the caption to be applied as it is to a flash-light for business use in which dry batteries are employed conventionally and to be exchanged easily by connecting two storage batteries of the same standard in seried to each other through a fuse and housing them in a cover member whose size-standard is larger than that of the batteries. CONSTITUTION:A combined battery 1 is assembled by installing, for instance, UNIT II-sized Ni-Cd batteries 3, 4 in a cover member 2 whose size is same as that of two UNIT I-sized dry batteries under the condition that the batteries 3 and 4 are connected in series to each other through a fuse employed as a spacer for cutting off any abnormal current. This battery 1 can be applied as it is to a flash-light for business use in which two UNIT I-sized dry batteries are employed conventionally. The battery 1 can be charged as it is so that battery-exchange by charging can be easily carried out without throwing it away after use. |
