PURPOSE:To obtain pulses of 50% duty by comparing the amplitude of a sawtooth wave corresponding to the period of an input pulse with a half of the peak value level of the sawtooth wave. CONSTITUTION:The rise of an input pulse Si is differential by a differential reset circuit 1. The differential pulse is applied to a sawtooth wave generating circuit 2 to reset the circuit. Consequently, the period of the sawtooth wave is made to coincide with the that of the input pulse Si. A peak detecting circuit 3 detects the peak level of a sawtooth wave from the circuit 2, reduce the level to a half level Sh and applied the half level to a comparator 4. Since a sawtooth wave is applied to the other input terminal of the comparator 4, an output So is generated as a 50% duty pulse. |
