PURPOSE:To hold the lens without employing the adhesives by making a through-hole equipped with a check valve between the lower face of a lens holder for inserting the lens and the upper face to be adsorbed to the carrying equipment. CONSTITUTION:An insertion recess 2d for holding a lens 4 is formed on the lower face of a lens holder disc 2 while a recess 2c for inserting a supporting shaft 3 which will support the lens holder during the grinding is formed at the center of the upper face. A pair of through-holes 2e are formed between the upper face 2a and the lower face 2b while holding the center between them, and a ball shaped check valve 6 for flowing the air toward the upper face side is provided in it. The suction board 12 of the carrier is employing the hoof-shape to keep away from the supporting shaft 3, and when the air is exhausted from the recess 12b for the suction board to adsorb the lens holder 2, the air in the air-tight space 5 is also exhausted through a through-hole 2e conducting with the recess 12b thus to adsorb the lens 4 to the lens holder 2. |
