PURPOSE:To unnecessitate provision of an air intake tube laid apart from an oil tank, to eliminate loss of fluid due to an air intake tube and to effect quick oil drainage at the breakout of fire by controlling a remote control valve located on the top of the oil tank. CONSTITUTION:On the top of an oil tank 2 housing electric equipment such as a transformer 1 and electric insulation oil 3, a solenoid valve 9 which is controlled by a remote controller 10 is provided. Further, underneath the oil tank 2, an oil drain valve 6 to drain the insulation oil 3 is provided, and a receiving vessel 5 to receive insulation oil 5 drained from the valve 6 which is separated from oil tank 2 with a fire protection wall 4 is placed.In breakout of fire in insulation oil 5 by an accidental cause, the valve 6 which is located below the oil tank 2 is opened and at the same time a remote control switch 10a of the controller 10 is operated. Thus, a magnet coil 9c is energized to open the solenoid valve 9 and take air into the oil tank 2. With this air intake, insulation oil 5 in oil tank 2 is quickly drained to receiving vessel 5, preventing transformer 1 from catching flames. |
