PURPOSE:To make it possible for sure and easily to detect flaws on a wall surface by providing the main body of a detector that is freely movable in the horizontal and vertical directions suspended by means of a wire and also a remotecontrolled flaw detecting probe that moves right and left while tapping on the wall surface. CONSTITUTION:A wall detector 1 for flaws of buildings and constructions is constituted with the main body 2 of the detector 1 and a probing device 3. The main body 2 is hung down to the wll face 4a of a building 4 with a wire and freely horizontally and vertically, and the proving device 3 is supported on a supporting bar 9 that projects from the above mentioned main body 2. With the main body 2 being hung, an equipment 8 for remote control housed in the main body is operated to actuate the motor and driving gears in the probing device 3, which moves the probing device 3 right and left by means of a screw shaft 12 to perform tapping on the wall. This arrangement allows inspection of walls more easily than probing them by tapping with hand, visual inspection, etc. |
