PURPOSE:To improve SN by repeating the transfer of electric charge just under an accumulating electrode and a detecting electrode in a picture element respectively and actuating an electric charge integrating circuit to integrate a signal. CONSTITUTION:In an electric charge injecting device, an accumulating electrode and a detecting electrode are mounted on a semiconductor substrate. The terminal 67 of the detecting electrode is connected to an electric charge integrating circuit 100 through a charge amplifier CA. The transfer of charge generated in the wells of respective electric potential is repeated between these wells which are adjacent just under the accumulating and detecting electrodes in the picture element, and a charge integrating circuit 100 is actuated, synchronously with the repetition of charge transfer, so that a signal is integrated and SN is improved. |
