PURPOSE:To prevent the disconnection or the like of a coil wound is a loop shape by pushers of jigs by deforming the coil only in an axial direction to form an axially extending part, thereby equalizing the lengths of upper and lower sides of the coil. CONSTITUTION:A pair of jigs 5, 6, in which U-shaped pushers 7, 8 for axially urging a coil 4 wound in a circular shape are disposed to be displaced from each other, are disposed at both sides of the coil 4 so as to operate axially. The number and the positions of the pushers 7, 8 are suitably determined by the number of poles and the shape of the coil to be shaped, and arms 9, 10 for supporting the pushers are deflected toward the central axis. The coil is bent in a wavy shape by operating the jigs 5, 6 toward the coil 4 as shown by arrows, thereby forming the coil 4 having an axially extending part 4a. |
