PURPOSE:To make a deflective pincushion distortion of both picture sides adjustable with close tolerances, by installing a magnetic substance for pincushion magnetic field intensification at the side of a CRT face directional opening part of a vertical deflection coil and another magnetic substance for barrel magnetic field intensification at the side of a CRT electron gun respectively, in reference to the deflection yoke of television receivers. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic distribution at the side of a CRT face directional opening part is set up at a pincushion magnetic field being strong enough to the extent that may compensate a deflective pincushion distortion of both picture sides with a winding distribution of a vertical deflection coil and a magnetic substance at the side of a CRT face directional opening part. Degree setting of the pincushion magnetic field is selectable in an easy manner when a winding distribution angle theta shown in figure is made to lessen. Then, a magnetic substance 3G is arranged at the top and bottom inside of the CRT electron gun side of this vertical deflection coil. This magnetic substance 3G is to set up a strong barrel magnetic field to what degree that can compensate convergence errors of both side-beams in the magnetic distribution at the CRT electron gun side and when an area of the magnetic substance 3G is altered, the degree of the barrel magnetic field can be set. |
