PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for stopping of a disk by providing a braking member on the disk mounting surface of a tray, and bringing the disk into contact with the disk mounting surface at the end of reproduction. CONSTITUTION:On the disk mounting surface of a tray 2 which mounts an inserted disk and then moves between a disk insertion position and a disk reproduction position, a braking member 30 is provided. During reproduction, the disk is separated from the disk mounting surface and on the reproduction, the disk is brought into contact with the braking member on the disk mounting surface to stop. The braking member 30 consists of three brake pads made of felt, rubber, etc. Consequently, the damaging and position shifting of the disk are prevented and a loading mechanism operates as a brake at the end of stopping. |
