PURPOSE:To mount a toner cartridge on a developing device from above, by providing guide projections on a part of toner cartridge caps. CONSTITUTION:A toner cartridge formed to a nonmagnetic material hollow cylinder is provided with a toner supply entrance 2 covered with a seal member 3 which can be peeled off, and the toner cartridge is sealed up at both sides by cover parts 4 and 5, which consists of ring parts 4b and 5b and outside edge parts 4a and 5a and are fixed to the cartridge by folding outside edge parts, and caps 6 and 6 inserted to cover parts 4 and 5. In case that this toner cartridge is mounted on a developing device, the seal member is peeled off, and guide projections 7 of cartridge caps 6 are guided along grooves 22 of side plates 21 of a toner supply tank 17 to turn the cartridge by half, and thus, a toner drops from the supply entrance 2 to the supply tank. |
