PURPOSE:To provide a printing control system which can print without reduction in a printing speed when a large number of sheets is printed, by a method wherein, in an impact system printer, a drive time width of an armature at an impact time is changed. CONSTITUTION:A CPU3 reads a soft ware instruction in a main memory unit MMU4 to transfer it to a printer control part 21 of a printer 1 through a bus 2. A parameter assigning means 22, consisting of, for example, an RAM, is mounted to the printer 1, and a parameter, indicating the number of copying papers, is written by means of a switch operating in conformity with a platen position changing corresponding to a manual operation from a key board and the number of copying papers. When a printer starts printing, the printer control part 21 changes a drive time width (moving distance/speed) through changing of a current, with which a drive magnet is charged, by means of the written dada. |
