PURPOSE:To improve the sensitivity and the durability, by using a specific bis pyrazoline compound as an electric charge carrying substance to a photoreceptor having an electric charge generating layer and a charge carrying layer. CONSTITUTION:A bispyrazoline compound expressed by a general formula [I][where, X1 and X2 are heterocyclic groups (e.g. 2-pyridyl, 3-pyridyl, 2-quinolyl, 4-quinolyl, 3-carbazoyl etc.) R1 is a divalent hydrocarbon group which may be substituted. R2 and R3 are an aryl group which may be substituted or a heterocyclic group. R4 and R5 are a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group which may be substituted or an aryl group]and a bonding agent are dissolved to obtain a solution. the solution is applied to form an electric charge carrying layer. The layer is made in 2-100mu thickness by mixing 10-500pts.wt. a charge carrying compound per 100pts.wt. bonding agent. An electric generating layer is laminated on this layer. |
