The bearing, which may be a ball bearing or a slide bearing, for example a bearing bush, is held on the base of the housing part by means of a bowed metal plate. This disk is first aligned and centred and then turned in order to fix the bearing and possibly other components. A number of inwards pointing projections, which are designed as retaining projections and centering projections and are made by punching around the hole of the housing part, provide the initial position, the guidance for the rotation and the fixing of the plate. By rotating the plate in the opposite direction the bearing can be removed. The invention is especially suitable for the bearing of rotating shafts for electrical fans of motor vehicles. <IMAGE>
