PURPOSE:To lower and stabilize a resistance layer, by using a dry applying film made of a mixture in which a water soluble high molecular compound is added to a water dispersion of a synthetic resin and a carbon black as a conductive layer of an electrostatic recording material of a transferring type to an ordinary paper. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic recording material in which a latent image is formed by an electrostatic recording and toner is transferred and fixed on an ordinary paper after developing the latent image and which is repeatedly useable, is composed of the three layers of a supporting material 1, a conductive layer 2 and a recording layer 3. As the conductive layer, a dry coating film made of a mixture of an aqueous dispersion of a synthetic resin having a <= 30 deg.C glass transition point, an aqueous dispersion of a carbon black and a water soluble high molecular compound, is used. A substance in which fine powder of a carbon black is dispersed in the synthetic resin is preferable from the point of the stability of a resistance value and the coating and drying by using the water dispersion is desirable for the manufacturing and the safety and the water soluble high molecular compound is added in order to prevent a raise of the resistance value owing to a heat treatment. |
