<p>The fastener secures a blade (L) in the frame (1) of a hacksaw with blade tension adjustment. The blade extends between the extremities of the frame legs (1b,1c). One extremity incorporates the tensioner and the other (1c,1e) provides a blade end fixing accommodated within the sectional profile of the leg, i.e. neither the blade end nor any fasteners project outside the profile. The blade may be accommodated by a slit (1c1) or by a rebate (1c2) and the tensioner may be incorporated in a handle (6) forming an external blade extension.</p> |
