A compound is disclosed having the general formula:

X1 is hydrogen or a radical Y,
X2 is hydrogen, a halogen, a C1-C4 alkyl or alkoxy radical or a radical Y or Z,
X3 is hydrogen, a halogen, a C1-C4 alkyl or alkoxy radical or a radical Y or Z,
or X2 and X3 together form an alkylenedioxy group in which the alkylene group contains 1 or 2 carbon atoms; Y is a sulphonamido moiety which is connected via the S atom and which is N-substituted by an amino acid residue;
and Z is the group Z1 or Z2 wherein

provided that not all the groups X1, X2 and X3 are the same and that
alpha ) when X1 is hydrogen, X2 and X3 are different from each other, neither is the group Z2 and one of X2 and X3 is Y or Z1;
beta ) when X1 is Y, X2 and X3 are not simultaneously Y or Z, and
gamma ) when R1 or R2 in the radical Y is a divalent group of formula c), in the radical Y, only one of the groups X1, X2 and X3 is Y and neither X2 nor X3 is Z1.
