PURPOSE:To recover blast furnace gases as modified blast furnace gses of high quantity o heat contg. much CO by utilizing said gases as a carrier gas for desulfurizing agents in desulphurization treatment for molten iron. CONSTITUTION:In desulphurization treatment for molten iron 5 in a mixer car 4, a vertically movable skirt 3 provided in the lower part of a waste gas recovering duct 2 is beforehand lowered to shut off waste gas line and the outside in order to prevent the secondary combuson of waste gas by included air. When desulphurizing agents are blown through a lance 1 with blast furnace gases as a carrier gas, the blast furnace gases are modified as the CO2 therein reacts with the C of the molten iron during floating, and said gases are recovered as modified blast furnace gases of high quantity of heat contg. much CO. The atmosphere in the duct 2 is substituted with N2 at around the time when this is going to be executed. |
