PURPOSE:To confirm the normality of a transmission control steps of an accommodated packet terminal economically, without the provision of an exclusive packet terminal test device. CONSTITUTION:In confirming the normality of a transmission control step of a packet terminal PT provided with a terminal number (n) accommodated with a packet exchanger DCE', a call request packet CR including a selected logical channel number (c), a call terminal number (n) and a called terminal number (n) are transmitted to a packet exchanger DCE' via a data line DL. The packet exchanger DCE' makes reception processing such as the confirmation of the normality of type discrimination of the CR received from a packet reception processing section PR at a call control section, and compares the call terminal number (n) included in the CR with the called terminal number (n) at a terminal test discriminating section TD, and the request of a test call by the PT is detected through the coincidence of the both to prepare the recording of the packet relating to the said test call and the test data such as communication time by a logging processing section LG. |
