A fixed point for large pipelines which become hot, in particular a fixed point within the pipeline run of lines which convey long-distance energy. An intermediate member is connected into the fixed-point construction. This intermediate member permits restricted capacity for the pipe to move from the zero position of the fixed point in the axial direction and, with this movement, simultaneously triggers a restoring force in the opposite direction to the direction of movement out of the zero position in order to restore the pipe to said zero position. <IMAGE>
