The invention relates to an arrangement for automatically replacing toner in a developer device, magnetic single-component toner being fed onto the developer roller in order to develop copies from a charge image carrier. The aim of the invention is to feed the magnetic single-component toner onto the developing sleeve of a developer device without great complication or the occurrence of agglomerations of toner in the toner dam. The object of the invention is by suitable arrangement of a feed plate to feed the magnetic single-component toner continuously to the developer device on this plate along the toner dam at the stripper, or to feed it automatically as a function of the quantity of toner consumed. According to the invention, a feed plate is arranged at the stripper inside the zone of action of the toner attraction, the feed edge of the feed plate being located at or inside the boundary of the zone of action of the toner attraction, and the feed edge being located in this arrangement at or in the toner dam forming at the stripper. <IMAGE>
