A device having a single optical Fourier processor is presented by means of which a multiplicity of various analog signals can be Fourier-transformed at the same time so that the Fourier spectra of the various measuring channels are already available a few microseconds after the end of a measuring phase. For this purpose, it is provided in the device that a) the analog input data (Ai(t) (1</=i</=N) of N analog measuring channels are sampled, b) imaging in an incoherent/coherent converter (IKW) is effected in data strips (DK1... DKN), each data strip (DK1... DKN) representing the data of an analog measuring channel for a defined measurement interval (t1, t2) in that the analog input data Ai(t) are coded in corresponding brightness values, c) the output of the incoherent/coherent converter (IKW) is illuminated with coherent light (source 6), d) the Fourier transforms of the output of the incoherent/coherent converter (IKW) are generated locally separated in accordance with the various data strips (DK1...DKN) by means of optics (7), e) a detector (8) having N linear detectors reads out the Fourier transforms and f) there is a unit (9) for recording or further processing of the detector data. <IMAGE>
