An app. for the continuous manuf. of synthetic fiber yarn, esp. polyamide polyester, comprises a melt extruder, a spinning nozzle mounted vertically over an air chimney with the fibers spun downwards, a take-down roll mounted at the bottom of the air chimney wherein the take-down roll function as a guide roll, a guide roll mounted at the side and above the take-down roll, and a reeling machine mounted next to the air chimney.
