PURPOSE:To make it easy to match an air conditioning unit to the interior of a room and enhance agreeableness, by providing air suction and blow-off ports at side parts of a front panel of the unit. CONSTITUTION:An L-shaped heat exchanger 7 is provided in the center of an air conditioning unit, and blowers 92, 93 are disposed respectively on the upper and lower sides of the heat exchanger. Casings 921, 931 are provided in a bidirectional blow-off construction in which air is sucked in from the direction of a front cover and is blown off in leftward and rightward directions. Room air is introduced by the blowers 92, 93 through left and right suction ports 2 into the unit, it is passed through the heat exchanger 7 while being cooled through heat exchange with a refrigerant in the heat exchanger (a cooling operation), is then sucked into the blowers, and is blown off into the room through left and right blow-off ports 3. The air conditioning unit can be coordinated to the room, and since the air suction and blow off ports are provided at side parts of the unit in a slit form, the unit itself also has a thin shape, and can be matched to the room. |
