In the case of reinforced-concrete or prestressed-concrete parts, the reinforcement is covered by a concrete covering, the covering dimensions being given in DIN 1045. This concrete covering itself has a reinforcement which contains a three-dimensional metal or plastic network which exhibits a multiplicity of shaped elevations of the same height distributed over the surface. This reinforcement of the concrete covering assumes the task of securing the position of the outermost reinforcement layer of the actual static reinforcement, prevents chipping and splitting of the concrete covering and results in the width of any cracks arising being restricted. <IMAGE>
