PURPOSE:To prevent room air from being polluted at the time of introducing the outside are, by providing a first filter for removing dust from room air, and a second filter for removing dust from the room air passed through the first filter and the outside air introduced through an outside air introducing passage, in a use-side chamber. CONSTITUTION:When an air conditioner is operated with dampers 16a, 16b, 41 closed, room air is passed through a suction port 13, a first filter 11, use-side blowers 6a, 6b, a high-performance second filter 14 and a use-side heat exchanger 5 to be blown off from a blow-off port 46 into a room. On the other hand, the outside air is passed through intake ducts 44a, 44b, heat source side heat exchangers 8a, 8b and a blower 9 to be discharged through an exhaust duct 45 to the exterior. In such a cooling or heating operation, when the outside air introducing damper 16a is opened, a portion of room air is passed through an exhaust port 47 and through a total heat exchanger 17, where it exchanges heat with air in a ceiling space 48 which air is led to the heat source side heat exchanger 8a. Then, the outside air thus heat-exchanged is sucked into an outer suction port 49a, is mixed with the room air sucked through an inner suction port 50a, and the mixed air is passed through the second filter 14 to remove dust contained in the outside air, before being blown off into the room. |
