PURPOSE:To improve the performance of the whole stage by adjusting the deflection angles in response to the changes in the solidity of stationary blade trains so as to conduct fine capacity control. CONSTITUTION:In case the inlet setting angles beta1 and the outlet setting angles beta2 are equal for blades, the camber angles theta are also equal, but if the deviation angles delta differ, the discharge angles alpha2 differ, thus the deflection angles epsilon(=alpha2- alpha1) also differ. In other words, the deflection angle can be adjusted by changing the solidity l/s. Accordingly, the performance of the whole stage can be improved by moving stationary blade trains 2, 2a in the radial direction through a blade moving unit so as to adjust the deflection angles and to conduct fine capacity control in response to the changes in the solidity of stationary blade trains 2, 2a. |
