PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of an rotary engine in which an intake port is opened and closed by a rotary valve and to reduce the cost of the engine, by providing a clearance passage between the inside surface of a hole and the rotary valve rotatably fitted therein, to conduct lubricating oil to the intake port. CONSTITUTION:In a rotary engine, a secondary auxiliary intake port 9 extending into an intake action chamber 6 is opened and closed by a rotary valve 12 which is fitted in a hole 11 and rotated by an actuator 25. An opening 33 is provided over the fitting hole 11 and connected through an oil passage 35b to a lubricating oil ejection section 34 opened upstream to the primary Venturi part 19 of a carburetor 18. The oil passage 35b is connected to a main passage 35a coupled to an oil pump 32. A restrictor valve 37 is provided halfway in the oil passage 35b. A clearance passage 13 is defined between the inside surface of the fitting hole 11 and the peripheral surface of the rotary valve 12. Lubricating oil is conducted not only to the secondary auxiliary intake port 9 through the clearance passage 13 but also to secondary main intake port 8 through a communication hole 17. |
