The invention relates to an apparatus for the feeding, and individual separation, of sheet-like piece goods of irregular shape and of limited elasticity to processing lines. The aim of the invention is to provide a high-performance continuously working apparatus which allows a reliable and careful feeding and separation of irregularly shaped pastry articles within an industrial installation. The object on which the invention is based is to separate the article individually from a stack and feed it at a regular interval to further processing lines. The essence of the invention is that the article is pushed from below out of a magazine equipped with retaining devices by a slide provided with air-suction orifices by means of a vacuum and positive control, and the refilling of the magazine takes place via an attachable exchange magazine.
