The invention relates to a handle-fixing arrangement in the form of a plug-in coupling, with which a tool equipped with a corresponding connection piece can be detachably inserted and locked in a coupling sleeve arranged at the handle end. The axial locking is effected by a radially inwardly prestressed locking bar (36) which, in the use position, engages behind a catch lug (30) of the coupling plug-in tang (18) and can be lifted out, as desired, by a releasing means. This releasing means is constructed, according to one exemplary embodiment, as a push button (48) which can be pushed radially into the handle and is firmly connected to the locking bar (36) via a pin (42) and an arm (38). By pushing in the push button (48) counter to the spring (56) uncoupling is brought about, so that the tool can be freely removed. <IMAGE>
