An apparatus for the presentation of articles, such as textiles and the like, which are displaceably guided on strip-like flexible hangers in supporting rails. The supporting rails are carried by connecting members, a plurality of supporting rails starting from each such connecting member, and the connecting members are in turn attached to ceiling supports extending in a lengthwise direction, each of which has a cavity (25a) which is open at the bottom and into which the connecting members engage by means of their tops.
