PURPOSE:To preserve a image information exactly for a long period and to make the picture visible easily by recording a still image in a recording medium by means of quantized digital data, and recording simultaneously the still picture in the form of visible picture. CONSTITUTION:A digital record region 12 and a visible record region 14 are alternately arranged in the longitudinal direction of a belt-shaped light sheet 10. Data are recorded in the region 12 by arranging record lines consisting of minute dense parts and faint parts arranged in the lateral direction of the sheet 10 continuously in the longitudinal direction of the sheet 10. By one record line arranged in the lateral direction, from several to several tens bits of data are recorded. Checking parts for recording the dense parts and faint parts alternately for every adjacent record line are provided. Such recording is executed by the exposure with laser light, thermal recording, or heat sensitive recording. In the region 14, a image recorded in the region 12 is displayed as visible picture. The visible picture is recorded by a similar method as the recording of digital data or formed by an ordinary printing method. |
