PURPOSE:To provide the title drafter so designed that small-diameter intermediate rollers are set up between adjacent draft rollers in adjacent draft roller groups to shorten the spaces between said draft roller groups to be put to stretching process. CONSTITUTION:A web 13 is pressed on adjacent rollers through small-diameter intermediate rollers 18a, 18b, 18c, thereby extremely shortening the spaces where the web among draft roller groups is to be put to stretching process, and even if uneven thickness within the web is developed during its stretching process, this unevenness is kept at this level by the following draft roller before enlarging the unevenness to effect keeping said unevenness low. |
