Bearing arrangement for the mixing drum of a concrete transporter vehicle

For the mixing drum of a concrete transporter vehicle, which is mounted in a flexible bearing at the closed driving end and in a rigid bearing in the vicinity of its opening, a cardanic mounting is proposed for the flexible bearing. The mixing drum is rigidly connected to the gearbox output shaft mounted in the gearbox casing, i.e. is mounted in the gearbox casing. The gearbox casing is suspended in a gimbal via two first pins and rubber-metal bushes, the gimbal for its part being suspended via two second pins - offset by 90 DEG with respect to the first pins - and rubber-metal bushes in a bearing pedestal attached to the chassis. This arrangement makes it possible to take up the forces acting on the bearing arrangement from outside and to allow a pivoting movement of the mixing drum. <IMAGE>
