摘要 In an aerodynamically completely controllable hang glider two hanging control sticks which are arranged to the side with respect to one another and can be operated independently of one another are provided which are connected by means of a cable pull, guide rollers and levers in each case to the tail unit and to the associated nearer aileron of the lifting surface in such a way that given parallel deflection of the two control sticks about the pitch axis the elevator of the tail unit is operated, given opposite deflection about the pitch axis the rudder of the tail unit is operated, and given deflection respectively of one control stick about the roll axis the associated aileron is operated. The control sticks can be reached in like manner with essentially the same forearm hold both by a pilot in the footstart position hanging in a locked holding arrangement, and by a pilot in the essentially horizontal lockable flight position. It is possible to change from one position to the other. This results in the provision of a reliable, simply designed complete control of a hang glider, in which a maximum of control functions can be attained with a minimum of operational control members. In particular, no control functions are triggered by the feet of a pilot, so that in the critical phase of starting or landing there is the possibility of fully controlling and correcting the apparatus. A particular advantage of the invention is the independent control of the two ailerons. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the flying vehicle of a hang glider is constructed to a delta design with swivellable outer wing tips, the rear tail unit being a collapsible unit which is connected via a two-dimensional joint to the body of the flight vehicle.
