The invention relates to an iron channel section with a flat rail and a fixing wedge, for vertical formwork of reinforced concrete ceilings. It is also possible to form a jamb wall from outside using a longer rail. As shown in the drawing, the article consists of a channel rail of the required thickness, depending upon loading. The flat rail can be inserted through the joint and, depending upon the wall thickness, can either be angled off internally or be held with a second wedge. The flat rail can also be half-embedded or nailed on. The formwork plank is then placed against it or clamped in between and is tensioned and held by the outer wedge. The spacer welded to the channel rail at the bottom has a thickness of 4 cm. The channel rail has a plurality of slots of standard spacing. The vertical formwork is thus considerably simplified and saves working time. The storage is simplified. <IMAGE>
