This invention relates to wire dispensers, mountings and tools for wire insertion in dentistry. It is the object of the invention to make the method simpler, more cost-effective, easier to handle and more reliable than has hitherto been possible with the methods of pin insertion. The invention resides in the fact that the dispenser comprises an elongate, essentially tubular handlepiece with a hollow interior for accommodation of the pins and with a mouthpiece arranged on one end and possessing an outlet opening leading into the interior, the mouthpiece being adapted to suit the user holding the dispenser handlepiece, and the pin end emerging from the opening for insertion of said end into a hole previously drilled into hard tissue, the pin furthermore being broken off the length after cementing in this hole and, moreover, means being present for the user on the handlepiece for engagement with and movement of the wire length from the interior through the mouthpiece opening towards the outside. |
