Process for removal or partial removal from an inclined pond outlet or other natural flowing waters of disturbing substances dissolved therein, wherein the water is passed atleast once by its gravity, without supply of external energy, over a packed bed made of granular sorption material retaining the disturbing dissolved substances and placed below the water surface.
