To measure uncorrelated interference in a television signal, the difference between the undelayed signal and the signal delayed by one frame period and, on the other hand, the difference from the undelayed signals and the sum of the undelayed and delayed signals weighted by a factor is formed and finally the amounts of the differences are integrated.
