PURPOSE:To wind a cloth material in optional width to a paper pipe, by horizontally removably supporting a trough shaped winding shaft of circular arc cross section, placing the paper pipe on a trough shaped part of said winding shaft, rotating the pipe around the center of the sectional circular arc as the center and winding the cloth material from crude cloth. CONSTITUTION:Crude cloth A is fixed by rotary discs 33, 34 in a crude cloth tank, 1, and a winding shaft 11 is fixed between a supporting unit 13 and cylindrical rotary unit 23. A cloth material (a) is pulled out from the crude cloth A onto a table 2 and placed on a circular arc shaped internal surface 11A of the winding shaft 11 so as to roll in its circular arc side edge 11b through guide rollers 8, 9, and a paper pipe 38 is placed from the above, then the paper pipe 38 and the winding shaft 11 are integrally formed to wind the cloth material (a) several turns to the direction of an arrow head 37, and then the material is wound by a handle 22 to prescribed length. Then the cloth material (a) is cut by a cutter 7. And the winding shaft 11 is removed then extracted between the paper pipe 38 and the cloth material (a). In this way, length of the winding shaft is formed larger than maximum width of the cloth material, and adaptability for cloth width can be increased to simplify constitution and handling. |
