PURPOSE:To ensure a forward or reverse run of a motor by a method wherein Hall elements are parallelly connected to a bridge composed of two transistors and two resistors of the same resistance. CONSTITUTION:With a transistor 34 ON and transistor 35 OFF, a bias current for a Hall element 6 runs from a power source, via a resistor 20, a resistor 31, and a diode 36, mostly, and then to the ground while a bias current for a Hall element 7 runs from the power source, via a resistor 20, a resistor 33, a diode 38, mostly, and then to the ground. Conversely, with the transistor 34 OFF and the transistor 35 ON, the bias current for the Hall element 6 runs from the power source, a resistor 28, a resistor 30, a diode 37, mostly, and then to the ground while the bias current for the Hall element 7 runs from the power source, via the resistor 28, a resistor 32, a diode 39, mostly, and then to the ground. This setup allows a bias current to run in an opposite direction, causing a motor to run in the reverse direction. |
