PURPOSE:To form a coating layer not easily exfoliated by scratches of edged tools or mechanical wear by applying unhardened thermosetting resin to a face to be coated and burying power of F compound on the surface layer and hardening the thermosetting resin by heating. CONSTITUTION:A solution made by dissolving unhardened thermosetting resin (for example, polyimidoprepolymer) in a solvent (for example, xylene) is applied on a base 1 such as an iron plate, and the solvent is removed by heating to form a layer of deposited resin. Then, powder 5 of F compound [for example, carbon fluoride having molecular formula (CF)n about 1mum and grain size] is sprinkled over the layer of the resin 4, and the powder 5 is buried in the resin 4 by a roller etc. Under this condition, the resin 4 is cured by heating, and the powder 5 is firmly fixed on the surface of the resin 4 to form a coating layer having fluorinated surface. |
