PURPOSE:To enhance stability of steering wheel by installing an electric flow control means, which adjust the amount of operating pressure oil in accordance with the running condition of the car, between the change-over control valve and power cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A flow control valve 22 equipped with a linear solenoid 23 is installed in oil lines 14a, 14b which puts the change-over control valve 12 in communication with the power cylinder 15. This linear soldnoid 23 is connected with an electric control device consisting of a micro-computer 50, which makes a certain specified operation on the basis of signals from an angle sensor 30 and a speed sensor 40. This electric control device controls the solenoid 23 so that the steering torque of the steering wheel 11 increasing with the car speed and with the cornering angle leads to increased amount of the operational pressure oil correspondingly. Thus the stability of steering wheel is secured. |
