PURPOSE:To have a double secured safety mechanism as well as have possiblity of sensing any trouble in one of the detainer pins immediately, by driving the outer sleeve and pinion shaft by two detainer pins with different clearances in fitting. CONSTITUTION:A pair of bosses 11C are installed at the pinion shaft 11 projecting from the edge near the inner sleeve 24 outward in the radial direction, and a pair of pins 40, 47 with different diameters are installed at these bosses 11C protruding from them. The pins 40, 47 are so formed as able to intrude into grooves 25h, 25i provided in the outer sleeve 27, and the pin 40, groove 25h and the pin 47, groove 25i constitute two drive mechanisms with different clearances in fitting with the pinion shaft 11 and outer sleeve 27. Accordingly, any failure in either of the drive mechanisms will not cause trouble in fitting with the shaft 11 and with sleeve 27 while change of the clearances with shaft 11 and sleeve 27 can give information about that failure produced in the drive mechanism. |
